Did Jason Malachi Sing on Michael Jackson Album?

Jason Malachi, a well-known Michael Jackson sound-alike, just "came clean" about singing on the star's posthumous album, which some MJ supporters have insisted features a vocalist other than the late King of Pop on at least some tracks.
But Malachi himself says he is the victim of fraudulent claims.
Here's the back story. In 2007, a song called "Mamacita" leaked, and was rumored to be an MJ song. It was actually Jason Malachi, a dead-ringer for MJ.
An MJJ ProducionJason Malachi Pic
Fast forward to this weekend, when Jason Malachi took to his Facebook page and made this astonishing claim: "Sheesh guys, I guess it's time to confess."
"I've lied to many people, including someone today, but ... It was me. It was me who sang 'Breaking News,' 'Keep Your Head Up,' 'Monster' and 'Stay.'"
"I had a agreement with the record company, but now the cat is out of the bag," he added. "Sorry to all my fans, and to my fellow Michael Jackson fans."
Jackson fans who insisted those "fake tracks" are not their idol likely felt vindicated by this - until Malachi's manager disavowed the Facebook page.

Laurence Maroney Busted on Drug, Gun Charges

Former first round pick Laurence Maroney has been a bust in the NFL. Now, the running back has been busted by the police.
According to the St. Louis Police Department, Maroney was one of five people arrested in a car last night that was stopped because cops observed "several occupants" smoking what they believed to be marijuana.

Three firearms (a .45-caliber handgun, a 9mm pistol and a .223 -caliber rifle) were found inside the car.
While authorities acknowledge that Maroney possesses a valid "Conceal and Carry" permit, it is still unlawful to carry a weapon while under the influence.
Maroney hails from St.Louis and averaged a scant 2.1 yards per attempt in 2010. Says his publicist:
"He holds a permit to carry a concealed weapon. He was not arrested for any drugs nor was he involved in a high-speed chase. He was released without being charged with any offense and we do not anticipate he will be charged with any criminal offense."

Brad WHOA-mack: The Bachelor Has a Criminal History

When this season of The Bachelor premiered, contestants were noticeably wary of Brad Womack because he left both finalists with a broken heart during his first run on the show.
But suitors now have a new reason to worry: Womack is a criminal!!!
According to police records, Brad was arrested in 1993 for forging a Texas driver's license. Did ABC miss this infraction during its background check because Womack was booked under his birth name, Stephen Bradley Pickelsimer? Or did the network not care because he's just so gosh darn handsome?
Brad Womack Mug Shot
This felony counterfeiting charge netted Womack 180 days of probation.
Meanwhile, Star Magazine also reports that the bachelor was busted for public intoxication and for passing a bad check.
Consider yourself warned, Emily Maynard.

Former Oksana Grigorieva Bodyguard: Team Mel All the Way!

Oksana Grigorieva's ex-bodyguard Kristian Herzog has had some rough things to say about Mel Gibson in the past ... like how Mel wanted him dead.
Now, though, the guy who likely knows the most about Oksana's claims against Mel says she's exaggerating or downright lying about violence.
Herzog, who served as her bodyguard until recently, and who may or may not havenailed Oksana, says she admitted to him Mel never punched her.
Oksana, Mel Picture
Oksana is a manipulative liar trying to bilk Mel, says Kristian.
Rather, Herzog says Oksana told him Mel slapped her. That's it. Gibson admits slapping Oksana, claiming he was trying to protect daughter Lucia.
Herzog, who's been subpoenaed by Mel's lawyers in the couple's custody fight, also says she had a motive for secretly recording Mel Gibson rants.
That motive, simply, was "to pressure Mel to pay her money."

Adam Jasinski Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Over a year since he was arrested in North Reading, Massachusetts, Adam Jasinski has been sentenced to four years in prison.
The champion of Big Brother 9 - who actually used his reality show winnings to set up a drug ring that included co-star Matt McDonald - was busted in October 2009 for trying to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to a government informant. Smart, he is not.
Adam Jasinski Pic
It's a good thing Adam Jasinski has experience living with strangers in tight quarters.
In handing down the sentence to the 32-year old, U.S. District Court Judge William Young decreed:
"You were drug trafficking, and you were drug trafficking until they caught you. You got to a position where you thought that the rules didn't apply to you."
Said Jasinski, who admitted to being treated for bipolar disorder and drug addiction: "I'm sick. I won $500,000 and I blew it all. I apologize. I'm a mess... Give me a chance to get out and find out who I really am."

America Next Top Model

The 2011 NAACP Image Awards nominations have just been announced, and ANTM snagged a nom for Outstanding Reality Series. They're up against American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and BET's Sunday Best. That's some stiff competition, but we're sure the best dressed list will be no contest. Unless TyTy wears a fishnet mask, or Andre Leon Talley shows up in one of his Snuggie capes.

Assassin

This is a game best played in a large group. We always played it with the 6-10 year olds at our summer camp. Sit all of the children in a circle, with legs crossed. Have all children put their heads down. one person (we always had at least one adult present) would walk around the circle and tap one child on the head. This person was the assassin. The child "kills" all other players by winking at them. If you are winked at, silently count to 10, then put your feet in the middle of the circle. We always had a few drama queens who would act as if they really had been shot, and clutch their chest, and shake and scream. very funny. if the assassin kills everyone, then they win. they can be "witnessed" as well. if you think you know who the killer is, before you get winked at, you can say you have a suspect. Such as "I suspect that Sally is the assassin" if someone seconds it (agrees with you) then sally either comes clean. if sally is not the assassin, then the accusers are dead to.

a less brutal version is the sandman. same thing, except being winked at means you take a nap.

Bubble Gum

You had to have at least three people to play but an unlimited number could join in.
Everyone would gather in a tight circle and make a fist with both hands and hold their fists out in the center of the circle. I cant remember exactly how we chose who would be the counter (I think it was whoever was the bossiest at the moment!).[See Picking Who is IT] But anyway, the counter would take one of her fists and tap everyone's fists (including her own) as she said this rhyme: Bubble gum, Bubble gum, in a dish. How many pieces do you wish?
Who ever she taps last would give a number between 1 and 20. Then the counter would again tap everyone's fists as he/she counted to the specified number. Who ever she landed on had to take that fist out of the circle and place their hand behind their back. Then the counter would start all over again with the Bubble gum, Bubble gum....and repeat the process. Once both of your fists were tapped, you were out. And this went on until it narrowed it down to one-the winner. Now, a lot of times we used this to help us decide on certain issues-kinda like a fair way of voting on who would be leader for the day or something silly like that. Other times we just played it over and over again to see who won the most and was declared the champion of the day. It was fun and very simple to learn.

Farmer in the Dell

Participants (probably 15 or more) stand in a circle.
One person is chosen as the Farmer and stands in the middle.
Everyone sings,
"The farmer in the dell,
the farmer in the dell;
Heigh ho, the Derry-oh the farmer in the dell"
and walk around in the circle.

The next verse is
"The farmer takes a wife . . .,"
which is sung as the first person chooses another person from the circle to come to the inside.

The next verse is

"The wife takes a child . . .,"

when the second person inside the circle chooses a third person to be the child. This continues with

"The child takes a dog . . .,"
"The dog takes a cat . . .,"
"The cat takes a rat . . .," and
"The rat takes the cheese . . .."
The final verse is
"The cheese stands alone . . .,"

-when all people on the inside of the circle go back to the outer edge of the circle and sing as the last person chosen "stands alone" in the circle.

Hot Potato

Everybody stands in a circle
Pass a beanbag around circle to music
When music stops person holding beanbag is out
Pretend the beanbag is a very very very HOT POTATO

[This version was played in New England]

The wonder ball, goes round and round
To pass it quickly, you are bound
If you're the one, to hold it last
The game is past, and you are out!
Variation: add on another line of verse by spelling the word "out"
(e.g., O-U-T, out!)

Winkum

You make a circle with chairs. The girls sit on the chairs, and the boys stand beside them. There should be one more boy than girls, so there should be an empty chair. The guy behind the empty chair makes eye contact with one of the girls, and winks at them. The girl tries to run to the empty chair, and the boy behind her tries to grab her shoulders so she can't go. Use sturdy chairs, we did some serious damage to some when the game got a little crazy once!

Koosh Ball

How to Play:

Start with small groups of about 10 people (or smaller). Form a circle.

One person starts with the koosh ball. He/she names a particular person in
the group and throws the ball to him/her.

That person must catch the ball then names another person of the group and
also throws the ball to him/her.

Everyone in that circle will throw the ball to the person they have each
named. This implies that everyone will receive the ball from the same
person and throw it to the same person. (ie: A always throws the ball to C
and C always throws it to G, etc...).

Once the students have completed a full circle of ball throwing (3-4 times)
without dropping the ball, The students will become more familiar with
the activity. The add a second ball and repeat the motion. Then go to 3-4
balls...

Once the students are comfortable with this pattern, form a bigger circle
by integrating all the students, and start throwing 1 kooshball. Make a
complete pattern. Every student will have the opportunity of receiving and
throwing the kooshball. Once the ball has gone around without being
dropped, introduce a second ball, then a third, and so on.
This game creates a pattern of motion, involving concentration, focus and a
lot of fun. I have gone as high as 9 kooshball with 27 students; it's
quite challenging.

A variation:
Students number themselves and call numbers instead of names. The ball can
be thrown up in the air and the number called must catch it before it falls
to the ground.

Murder

Things you'll need: At least 3 kids (ages 8 and up or that can stay still and understand the game.), a quarter, a flash light and a cloth to cover the flashlight.
Rules:
On person is chosen to be "it". The other players sit down and form a circle. In the middle of the circle is the flashlight covered by the cloth, make sure that all the players can see each others eyes. The person who is it shuts the lights, except for the flashlight and the other players close their eyes and put their hands behind their backs. "It" walks around the circle and places the quarter in an unsuspecting player's hand. The person who is it than says "OK, open your eyes." the players in the circle than open their eyes and the person with the quarter tries to kill the others bye blinking at them. If the other players get blinked at they fall to the ground. The players with out the quarter try to guess who the "killer" is.  If they guess incorrectly or get blinked at they are out for this round. The game continues with the person that gets the quarter to be it.

OR

This game is played by having everyone sit in a circle. All hold hands. The pre-selected murderer then starts to squeeze the hands of those sitting next to him/her. For each squeeze it will travel that many hands away from the murderer. The people next to the murderer squeeze the people next to them minus one time, and this continues until someone is squeezed only once. The person who receives only one squeeze is dead. The object of the game is to guess who the murderer is before you get "killed."

Queen Bee

A mix of jump rope, tag, and follow the leader Queen bee follow me See if you can catch me (Anything the Queen bee does, the worker bee must copy while trying to catch up with and tag the Queen bee. The Queen may leave and enter the rope as s/he wishes. With more than two people, you may have more than one Queen and one worker, but the worker always follows only one Queen.)

Sausage

Everyone sits in a circle. The person who is it stands in the center of the circle. Each person asks the person who is "it" an appropriate question. The only answer to every question can be sausage. The first person to make the center person laugh wins a try in the middle.
Ex: What color is your hair? Sausage. What do you brush your teeth with? Sausage.
(Obviously other words can be used for variety)

Sock Wrestling

All the kids sit in a circle and have to take off their shoes so they are only wearing socks.
Every kid is given a number. Two numbers are then called out. The kids with those numbers come into the center of the circle, and, remaining on their knees, must, in any way possible, get the other person's sock before they get theirs.
Very funny to watch. A variation is for the kids to have pillows under their tops which makes it less contact and dangerous

Stick Stick

One person starts out as "it' and the other players form a circle surrounding her. They sit cross legged
All members of the circle sit with their knees touching. The left hand forms a "cup" shape, (palm up) and is placed on the person to their left's right knee (so each person has someone else's left hand on their right knee.) The right hand is made into a clenched position ( as though hiding something.) One person starts with a twig small enough to be concealed in their right hand. The person who is "it" must know where the stick is starting.
It is imperative that the players have the motion down-pat before the actual game is played. They must all start with their right hand in the cupped hand of the player whose hand is on their right knee, then everyone at the same time moves their right hand into their own left hand, then back to the other hand, then back to their own hand. The stick is passed from one player to the next, but must be concealed to the best of their abilities (especially during the actual passing of the stick.) After the song is sung once through, the person who is "it" can begin to guess who has the stick. When they successfully guess, those two players switch places. Half the fun is trying to conceal the stick--the other half is pretending you have it when you really don't!!
The song is as follows, each line break represents the hands going from side to side
Stick
Stick
How I
Wonder
From one
hand in-
to the
other
Is it
fair?
Is it
fair?
to keep poor
(say name of player in center)
sitting
there?
This song is repeated until the person guesses where the stick is. No fair hiding the stick!!

OR

The children all stand in a circle with one person in the middle. That person has a button between his hands that he is going to drop into one of the other player's hands. The object of the game is to go around the circlepretending to drop the button, but not letting the others know who got the button. Then the other players guess who got the button. The drop is accomplished by holding the button between your two hands stretched out flat. You stand facing another player who is holding his hands the same way, only he opens his a little bit so you can run your hands through his. If you decide to drop the button, you open the bottom of your hands a little and let it drop. If you don't drop the button, just leave your hands closed, and go through the motion. After you have gone completely around the circle, all the players guess, with all of them trying to look like the one with the button. Whoever finally guesses correctly gets to be in the middle and drop the button.

Tazan Jungle Man

This game needs two players. It is a clapping game and you start by singing:
Verse:
"Tarzan jungle man swinging form a rubber band
Fell down broke his crown
What color was his blood?"
Actions:
Clap your hands once then slap your knees once. Then the other person does the opposite, slapping knees and then clapping hands.
When your partner says "blood" at the end of the song whoever has their hands on their knees chooses a color. You spell out the color and then whoever has their hand on their knees puts one hand behind their back until one person has both hands behind their back.
The person remaining is the winner

Windows and Doors

A bunch of kids formed a circle holding hands. Then they would spead out enough that everyones arms were straight out, to form large spaces between kids. These were the windows and doors. Then one child would start running, and weaving in and out between children. As they did this the kids in the circle would randomly drop their arms down trying to touch or trap the person weaving their way in and out. Once the person was caught or touched by the arms of someone, they were out. They would then choose which person would be next to weave in and out of the windows and doors.
